Get to know Otolaryngologist Dr. Wayne J. Harsha, who serves patients in Newberry, South Carolina.

A highly-trained otolaryngologist, Dr. Harsha opened Carolina Pines ENT after 19 years of practicing elsewhere. His primary goal is to offer compassionate care to each and every one of his patients, specializing in advanced head and neck conditions and multidisciplinary thyroid disorders.  He listens to each patient’s individual concerns and will work to find a solution that works for them. All surgeries are done at Newberry County Memorial Hospital, where he is on active staff. A native to Newberry County, Dr. Harsha received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Furman University in 1997. He then went on to attend the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston in 2001, after which he participated in an internship in general surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Ft. Lewis, Washington. He also completed a residency at Madigan Army Medical Center, and a fellowship in head and neck cancer and reconstruction with Mayo Clinic Arizona.
